Why the unique email address?
If you are visiting this page, you likely received an email from a unique address (e.g., companyname@fossane.com). This is a security measure, not a spam trap. This domain utilizes email aliasing to protect my digital identity. This domain is my personal email hub.
By assigning a unique address to every service or individual I interact with, I can:
- Isolate and block security breaches immediately.
- Prevent cross-site tracking of my personal data.
- Ensure that my primary inbox remains secure.
Rest assured, if you are sending legitimate correspondence to the address provided, it will reach me directly.
Take back your privacy
I didn't build this system from scratch. I use tools that make privacy accessible. If you want to start using unique email aliases or manage your passwords securely, I highly recommend checking out Bitwarden.
Bitwarden also integrates directly with email aliasing services to help you manage your inbound mailbox privately, just like I do here.

Close, but not quite. You are thinking of the Fossa, the cat-like top predator of Madagascar. This is a Fossane, also known as the Malagasy Civet.
While they are distant cousins native to the same island, the Fossane is smaller, spotted, and much more elusive. Scientists made it confusing by putting "Fossa" in the Fossane's scientific name (Fossa fossana), but they are distinctly different animals.
Consider this page a tribute to the underdog of the Malagasy rainforests.
